Until now I was a silent reader but with this video I had to break the silence. What AWASOME video. For some time now the desire to do a sailplane rating has come growing, this video makes me want more to do it :).
I read every post of you blog (some more than once) and I was also one of those who were waiting for this video.
I must say that your blog was one that also inspired me to create my own blog to share some of the moments that we live up there.
Right now I'm also producing my first video summarizing my PPL course and I'm having hard work to resume everything to a 15min max video! The soundtrack choice is another problem. Any advice?
Right now I'm on the instruments part of my ATPL course.
You can check my blog at:

Happy flights and landings :)

Very nice, thanks for the link.

You should definitely go for the glider rating, it's quite cheap and sharpen your flying skills a lot.

And it obviously is a lot of fun.

Soundtrack wise, have a look at Audiomachine on youtube. You can download the video and extract the sound file to make it a mp3. There are some guidance on how to do that on yahoo questions and google.

Best of luck with your pilot training.

gc232, wow! What a superb blog and fantastic videos. I am a lapsed PPL and after reading this, my only thought is that I *have* to get back in the air! Thank you for sharing your journey.

Wow, impressive site. I am not a pilot (SIM) but have studied the 737 NG for awhile and and thirst for people that follow the Boeing FCOM,FCTM,and QRH. I am very impressed with your attention you give to your job! Great work. Oh the 737 in FSX is ok but the PMDG 737/800 NGX is pretty good recreation is pretty close. Would love to here a brief review.

Your video reminds me of my 20 year USN career, as soon as you pull into port, get out of the hotel and see as much as you can. Oh my career in sim, I want to make a video using 738 ng, KORD to KDCA, from cold and dark to shutdown at destnation. Great site, will be checking out all your work.

Hello @GolfCharlie. I say hats off to this inspiring and amazing video. These 9 minutes you shared with us are simply wonderful. I've always wondered how the view from the cockpit looks like ... but in this video we've been more than pampered! Thanks for sharing. Wish you always a safe flight :)

One of the best aviation videos and video library's I've ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing your gift as a pilot and a great videographer. If things don't pan out in the airlines, you've got a spot waiting in movie making!

Thank you

I almost cried! Your videos are just incredible. You are so right to tell the World how our life is good but went from glamourous to only enjoyable because we so much LOVE to fly. I wish, like many others who life our dream, that times could become like they used to be beforehand.

Hope to meet you soon.

Best
